Why I’m Merging Gaming, Spirituality, and Education into One System

Hello everyone, and welcome! I’m excited to launch this space where I explore the connections between seemingly disparate areas of my life – gaming, education, and spirituality.

I enjoy systems thinking, recursive reflection, and a deep dive into understanding complex ideas. This blog is an extension of that tendency; it’s a place to wrestle with questions about learning, growth, and the search for meaning.

I’m particularly interested in how games can be used as tools for education – fostering creativity, problem-solving skills, and even emotional intelligence. I also believe that spiritual practices offer valuable insights into our own minds and behaviors.

Here, you’ll find reflections on:

  • Games: Not just playing them, but thinking about why they work, how they can teach us something, and the surprising ways they shape our perceptions.
  • Education: Exploring what actually works for learning – not just rote memorization, but genuine understanding and critical thinking.
  • Spirituality: Sharing some of my own explorations into different traditions and practices, mostly focused on cultivating self-awareness.

I’m really interested in hearing your thoughts too. If you’ve ever found yourself wondering about something similar – if you’ve just… not known what to do – I’d love to hear from you. Let’s talk.
